ABOUT THIS DESING:
"
The OG Fuchs is still one of my favourite ideas I’ve designed.
A fox that keeps its German name, Fuchs, mainly because of its assonance with fucks and because that sound somehow carries the whole spirit of the character.
The design belongs to SAVE YOUR SOUL AKA anima_L, a way of drawing animals that started almost accidentally when I was at university in Florence.
During lessons, or on those unbearably hot Florentine days when boredom took over, my lover and I started playing a game: one of us would draw an animal and the other had to guess what animal it was.
There was only one real rule:
it had to be as ugly as possible.
That game slowly became its own visual language.
And from all those strange animals came the OG Fuchs.
It is also one of the very few designs that I willingly repeat again and again, even keeping the same original design.
Normally repetition is something I try to avoid.
But FOR FUCHS is different.
Every new one is another member.
That’s me trying to create a Fuchs Army
