YEAH I KNOW

The ink of Yeah I Know (Y.I.K. for short), is etched into my forehead, a permanent query, a silent dialogue with the world. It’s a declaration of uncertainty, a recognition of the infinite unknown. This three-letter acronym, is a linguistic parasite, a phrase so overused it has lost its meaning most of the time a preamble of just about the opposite. Yet, it persists, a verbal tic, a conversational crutch. My forehead tattoo is a rebellion against this linguistic complacency, a challenge to the superficiality of such facile agreement. I’ve always been drawn to the indelible nature of tattoos.

As a child, I experimented by "tattooing" my toys, a precursor to a lifelong fascination. My teenage rebellion manifested in my first tattoo, a bold statement against my family's disapproval. [my first tattoo was my entire back done as soon as I was legally entitled to have one (18 years old)]. It was a rite of passage, a mark of independence . By the age of twenty, I was already experimenting with the tattoo machine and just with the needles (handpoke), driven by an innate desire to create, transform, embed and seal. Over four years of dedicated practice, I honed my craft, transitioning from amateur enthusiast to skilled artist. The opening of my 1st Berlin studio marked the beginning of a new chapter, a professional journey that would span seven intense years. Tattoo conventions, guest spots, and the adrenaline rush of the creative process fueled my passion. However, the relentless pace eventually took its toll, prompting a necessary hiatus to focus on data analysis. My tattoo style is an eclectic fusion of the conventional and the avant-garde. It’s a visual language that speaks to the complexity of the human experience. Some designs are minimalist, almost brutally simple, while others are intricate labyrinths of symbolism. Each tattoo is a unique alchemy, a blend of blood, ink, time, and intention It's a form of artistic expression that transcends time, a permanent imprint on a transient body. I believe that every tattoo has a destined wearer. My designs are not merely aesthetic adornments but carriers of profound meaning. They are talismans, imbued with the energy of their creation. While I have a signature design, the Fuchs, which I replicate with each new piece, the rest of my work is one-of-a-kind.  The creative process is a collaborative journey,a dialogue between artist and client. Together, we unravel the threads of symbolism, crafting a tattoo that resonates on a deep, personal level. With over 400 designs in search of an owner and approximately 300 brought to life, my portfolio is a testament to a relentless creative spirit. Each tattoo is a chapter in an ongoing story, a reflection of both the artist and the wearer. The world of tattoos is a dynamic landscape, constantly evolving. I am excited to witness the next chapter in this ever-expanding art form.

MK23

Mk23 is the part of my work where the design exists before the client does.
It begins with my own vision, my own obsession, my own need to give form to something that has already started living inside me. These pieces are not made to answer a request. They are born independently, often through research, hyperfocus, instinct, symbolism, or the simple urgency of creating something that feels necessary. Sometimes the starting point is a precise subject, sometimes a philosophical tension, sometimes a visual game, sometimes just a thought I could not leave alone until it became an image.

This is where series and concepts like 460 µg, Free the Animals, FingerSnak, Miscellaneous, The 99 Game, The 19 Game, Who Pulls the Trigger, Tell It With a Cat Caress, and Automatic Truth belong. Each of them comes from a different inner direction, but they all share the same origin: they were not asked for, they were found. They are the result of my personal language unfolding on its own terms. Some are based on research, some on recurring themes, some on subjects I hyperfocus on, and some simply on things I felt were too powerful, strange, sharp, or true not to create.

Because of that, Mk23 is not mainly about customization. The client enters later. The person sees the design and feels something immediate, almost instinctive. They recognize themselves in it before fully understanding why. That is what matters. The first connection is visual, emotional, and direct. There does not need to be too much talk at the beginning, because the design has already spoken. The real conversation often comes after, when I explain where it came from and when we both begin to understand why that particular image called that particular person.

That is what makes Mk23 special to me. It is not a tattoo made to fit someone from the start. It is a design that already exists, carrying its own energy, and then finds the right body almost like destiny, but without needing to perform destiny theatrically. It is simply a meeting. The client does not commission the soul of the piece. They recognize it. They choose to carry something that was already alive before them. In that sense, Mk23 is my most direct form of authorship: the work comes from me first, and only afterward reveals who it was meant to meet.

MK32

Mk32 begins where Mk23 has already left a mark.
If Mk23 is my vision appearing first and then being recognized by the right person, Mk32 is what happens when someone enters that world and wants to speak back to it. It starts when a client sees something in one of my designs, not necessarily the whole piece, but a detail, an atmosphere, a symbol, a structure, a tension, a visual rhythm, a feeling, and says: I love that part, that energy, that language… can you make something for me from there?

That is why Mk32 is neither a pure original flash nor a fully open custom tattoo. It lives in between. It is still rooted in my visual universe, but now the client gives the initial spark. They are not starting from zero, and I am not simply repeating what already exists. Instead, a transformation happens. The original work becomes a seed, and from that seed a new piece grows. In this sense, Mk32 is a continuation, an evolution, a mutation, or a branch of an existing world.

This is also why some concepts can belong to both Mk23 and Mk32, such as 460 µg becoming 230 µg for the lighter versions . A piece may be born originally as Mk23, as a complete design coming entirely from me, but later generate Mk32 tattoos when someone is drawn to that language and wants their own version of its force. The same can happen with visual systems, symbolic motifs, or formal elements that appear in other series. Mk32 lets those worlds expand without losing their origin.

The dialogue here is more active than in Mk23, but it is still guided by my hand and my vocabulary. The client may bring a request, a preference, or a specific attraction to one element, but the goal is not to dilute the work into something generic or over-explained. The goal is to create a new tattoo that still belongs to my language while being shaped by the encounter with that specific person. It is personal, but not disconnected from the source. It is custom, but not neutral. It remains inside my world.

So if Mk23 is my design, recognized by the right person, then Mk32 is my language, reactivated through the client’s desire. It is the space where an existing universe proves it can keep growing, adapting, and generating new forms without losing its identity.

WE ARE ALL FUCHS_ED

Let's delve into the essence of the "WE ARE ALL FUCHS_ED" tattoo design. This design is a labor of love, rooted in a deep personal connection to the image of a fox. For me, embodying the spirit of a fox is an expression of identity and artistry. If you share this sentiment, then we are indeed both FUCHS-ed … a playful nod to our shared foxy nature! This particular design was born from a whirlwind of emotion and creativity when I was just 22. Since its inception, it has become a constant companion in my artistic journey. Unlike other designs, this one holds a special place in my heart, prompting me to revisit and recreate it for various clients. Each rendition remains true to its core yet subtly evolves, reflecting the individuality of the person receiving it. The beauty of the "WE ARE ALL FUCHS_ED" design lies in its intimacy and personal resonance. It's a statement, a connection, and a piece of my soul that I share with others. Every time I ink this design, I feel a profound bond with the recipient, as if we are part of a unique tribe bound by the symbolism of the fox. This design transcends mere aesthetics; it delves into the realm of personal meaning and shared experiences. It's a celebration of bold choices. Through this design, I aim to create a lasting impact, leaving a piece of my artistic spirit with those who choose to carry it on their skin. The "WE ARE ALL FUCHS_ED" tattoo is a tribute to the art of tattooing and the deep connections it fosters.

TELETUBBIES

The whimsical world of tattoos often draws from the wellspring of personal experiences, memories, and emotions, translating them into inked masterpieces. Among the myriad designs I've created, one particular theme stands out for its unexpected depth and emotional resonance—the Teletubbies. Let's rewind to the years between 2006 and 2011. During this time, my younger brother was absolutely captivated by the Teletubbies. Every morning, he would eagerly plant himself in front of the TV, eyes wide with wonder as he watched Tinky-Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa, and Po embark on their colorful, nonsensical adventures. To him, it was pure magic. To me, it was an annoying intrusion. I despised those colorful creatures. They monopolized the TV, preventing me from watching my preferred shows, and I couldn't fathom the appeal of their repetitive antics and nonsensical babble. In those moments, sitting beside my brother, I was filled with frustration and impatience. The vibrant, overly cheerful world of the Teletubbies seemed to clash with my need for more "grown-up" entertainment. I couldn’t wait for the show to end so I could reclaim the remote and restore sanity to our household viewing schedule. Fast forward to 2018. By then, I had grown older andmoved away from home, forging my path in the world of  tattoo artistry. One day, after spent a 48h bender in  Berghain, I run back to my studio and I dropped the design of a yellow tubbies (page 11 first from left) and as I began sketching the design, a flood of memories washed over me. Those mornings spent with my brother came rushing back, and with them, a wave of unexpected nostalgia. I realized that those moments, annoying as they seemed at the time, were actually precious. They were a part of my childhood, a shared experience with my brother that, unbeknownst to me, had left a lasting imprint on my heart. As the memories unfolded, I began to understand the deep connection I had with the Teletubbies. It wasn't Page of 8 49about the show itself; it was about the time spent with my brother, the bond we shared and the simple joy of being together. Creating that first Teletubbies tattoo was a cathartic experience. It was like tapping into a deep well of nostalgia and hidden memories. Each line and color brought me closer to those mornings with my brother, transforming my initial disdain into a profound appreciation. The vibrant hues and whimsical characters took on a new meaning, representing not just a children’s show, but a cherished part of my past. Inking the Teletubbies onto someone’s skin felt oddly comforting and surreal. It was therapy with a splash of absurdity. As I worked, I realized that I was not just creating a piece of art; I was mending a part of my heart that had long been overlooked. The tattoos became a bridge connecting me to my brother, a way to keep those memories alive despite the distance between us. Over time, the Teletubbies designs evolved. Each one became a unique tribute to those childhood mornings. Some clients wanted them for their own reasons, while others were drawn to the sheer absurdity of the concept. Regardless of the reason, each tattoo carried a piece of my story, my journey from frustration to fondness, from separation to connection. In the process of creating these tattoos, I discoveredthat the Teletubbies had woven themselves into the fabric of my life in ways I hadn’t realized. They represented more than just a TV show—they symbolized the innocence of childhood, the bonds of family, and the bittersweet nature of growing up. They reminded me of my brother’s laughter, the warmth of our home, and the simple, unspoken love that existed between us. Through the art of tattooing, I was able to repair and cherish these memories. Each Teletubbies tattoo became a celebration of my brother, a tribute to our shared past. The act of tattooing these characters allowed me to reconnect with him in a deeply personal way, bridging the physical distance with a tangible reminder of our bond. The whimsical, surreal nature of the Teletubbies also added a layer of fun to the process. Their bright colors Page of 9 49and playful antics provided a stark contrast to the more serious, intricate designs I often worked on. It was a refreshing change, a chance to embrace the absurd and let my creativity run wild. This playful approach not only resonated with my clients but also brought a sense of joy and lightness to my work. As I continued to create Teletubbies tattoos, I found myself reflecting on the broader themes they represented. They reminded me of the importance of embracing our past, no matter how trivial or frustrating it may seem at the time. They taught me that even the most annoying experiences can hold profound meaning and that the bonds we form with our loved ones are the true treasures of our lives.
In this way, the Teletubbies became more than just a tattoo design, they became a symbol of love and family. They taught me to appreciate the small, seemingly insignificant moments and to cherish the connections that shape our lives. Today, whenever I see the Teletubbies, I no longer feel annoyance. Instead, I’m filled with a warm sense of nostalgia and gratitude. They remind me of my brother, of our shared childhood, and of the love that persistsdespite the miles between us. Each tattoo I create is a testament to this journey, a story inked into the skin that speaks of connection, memory, and the enduring power of family. In conclusion, they represent the unexpected beauty of childhood memories and the transformative power of art. Through these tattoos, I have found a way to keep my brother close, to honor our shared experiences, and to transform the mundane into the magical. So, here’s to the Teletubbies, to family, and to the enduring power of ink to tell our stories.

KODAMA

Next, let’s explore the enchanting world of Kodama, the mystical tree spirits deeply rooted in Japanese folklore. These spirits are ancient, with references dating back to the "Nihon Shoki," also known as "The Chronicles of Japan," from 720 CE. Kodama are believed to inhabit trees, particularly in dense forests, where they play the dual role of guides and tricksters to those who wander too far into their domain. The Kodama spirits are fascinating because they embody a raw, unfiltered honesty. They reveal truths that are often hard to accept, much like life itself. This dual nature(guiding the lost while also presenting harsh realities)is what drew me to. incorporate them into my tattoo designs. The analogy between these spirits and the human experience is compelling; navigating through life often feels like wandering through an unfamiliar forest, unsure of what lies ahead. In my designs, Kodama are depicted in various scenarios, each representing a different facet of their character. Whether they're playfully interacting with their environment or solemnly observing from their ancient trees, these spirits are always depicted with an air of mystery and truth. They serve as a reminder that nature, like life, is both beautiful and unforgiving. Creating tattoos featuring Kodama is not just about capturing their ethereal presence; it’s about channeling their essence into a form of art that speaks to the wearer. Each tattoo becomes a personal talisman, a piece of ancient wisdom etched Into the skin. It's a tribute to the honesty and purity these spirits represent. In essence, Kodama tattoos are more than just designs; they are symbols of guidance and truth, connecting the wearer to an ancient tradition that honors the enigmatic balance of life. Through these tattoos, I aim to bring a bit of that timeless wisdom and mystery to those who choose to carry a Kodama spirit with them.

L.I.T.T.L.E.

L.I.T.T.L.E. stands for Large-Scale Ink That Tells Life’s Epic.

These are not small ideas made visible.
They are major commitments, tattoos created to carry weightmemory, and identity across a large part of the body.

Sleevesback piecesbody sections, and other extensive works belong to the world of L.I.T.T.L.E..
They require visiontrusttimeendurance, and a serious investment, not only financially, but emotionally.

L.I.T.T.L.E. tattoo is chosen when a person wants more than decoration.
It is chosen when the work must hold something deeper, something that cannot be reduced to a simple image.

What draws me to L.I.T.T.L.E. projects is their scale and depth.
They allow an idea to breathe, expand, and unfold through compositionsymbolismrhythm, and detail.

These are the pieces where every element matters.
The body becomes part of the narrative, and the tattoo is designed not to simply sit on the skin, but to live with it.

Every L.I.T.T.L.E. project begins with conversation.
I want to understand not only what the client wants to see, but what they need the piece to carry.

Sometimes it comes from a turning point, a loss, a transformation, a belief, or a long personal history that deserves a form equal to its weight.
From there, the process becomes a true collaboration, shaping something visually powerful, deeply personal, and built to last.

For me, L.I.T.T.L.E. represents some of the most fulfilling work I can create.
It pushes me beyond making a single image and into building something immersiveintentional, and permanent.

L.I.T.T.L.E. piece is not just a tattoo.
It is a statement.

LET ME TELL YOU A STORY

BIOMECH

R.A.N.D.O.M.

R.A.N.D.O.M. is the collaborative side of my practice.

It stands for the moment in which a person comes to me not necessarily because they want one already-existing design, and not necessarily because they want an adaptation of a specific piece, but because they trust my style, my hand, and the way I think visually. At the same time, they still bring their own taste, rules, limits, desires, and references. So the tattoo is born through a real exchange: not total control from the client, and not total authorship from me, but a negotiation that still leaves room for intuition, freedom, and surprise.

For me, R.A.N.D.O.M. means that real art needs dialogue, origin, and meaning. The process starts with a conversation. The client brings something: a subject, a direction, a mood, a concept, a set of boundaries, or simply a feeling they want translated. Unlike Mk23, the piece is not already waiting in finished form. Unlike Mk32, it does not need to grow directly from one of my existing designs. Instead, it is built in the space between us. The client gives the frame, and within that frame I move freely, using my own language to shape something that belongs to both of us.

This does not mean the tattoo is random in the empty sense of the word. Quite the opposite. It is “random” in the way encounters are random, in the way two worlds unexpectedly meet and produce something neither could have created alone in exactly the same way. The design is born from shared ground: their taste, their story, their parameters, and my visual instinct, my choices, my symbolism, and my way of constructing images.

That is why R.A.N.D.O.M. often carries a different kind of intimacy. It is less about a pre-existing design choosing its person, and less about a person stepping into an already-built universe. It is about trust inside structure. The client gives me freedom, but not emptiness. They give me room, but also pressure, flavor, direction, and friction. And that friction is productive. It generates a tattoo that still feels mine, but could only have been born from that specific exchange.

So if Mk23 is my vision first, and Mk32 is my universe transformed through the client’s reaction, then R.A.N.D.O.M. is the place where the client enters with intention and I answer with freedom. It is collaboration without losing authorship. It is dialogue without losing style. It is the permanent mark left by an encounter.

AT YOUR SERVICE

And yes, I also tattoo as a service, not only as an artistic performance. Sometimes people do not come to me for my art or to be part of my vision, but for their own experience, where they are the main character, the writer of the story, and I am simply the sidekick, ready to help bring the hero’s request to life through whatever procedure or design they need.

HEALED

The essential part yet often overlooked part of getting inked. There's a certain magic in watching a fresh tattoo transform into a fully healed masterpiece. This journey is akin to witnessing a butterfly emerge from its cocoon, unfolding its beauty slowly and gracefully. The healing process is a testament to patience and care. Immediately after the tattoo is done, the skin is tender and needs protection. This initial stage is crucial, as it sets the foundation for how well the tattoo will look once healed. Keeping the area clean and moisturized is paramount, as is following the specific aftercare instructions provided by me. This diligence helps prevent infection and ensures that the ink settles properly into the skin. As the days progress, the tattoo will go through several stages of healing. It might start to scab and peel, much like a sunburn. This can be an uncomfortable period, but it's important to resist the urge to scratch or pick at the tattoo. Doing so can damage the design and lead to patchy healing. Instead, keeping the skin hydrated and allowing it to heal naturally will yield the best results. The final stage is when you can truly appreciate the artistry and craftsmanship that went into the design. The colors settle, the lines become clearer, and the tattoo reveals its final form. Yes, the colors might soften slightly, the lines might blur a bit, but the essence of the design remains strong. It's an emotional and transformative journey. It requires love and dedication, mirroring the commitment of getting the tattoo in the first place. Watching your tattoo heal and transform is a rewarding experience, a beautiful reminder of the process, art and story now permanently etched into your skin.
