COMPOUND DP

A print edition that changes while it is being collected.

Each design exists as a limited edition of only 10 prints, available across six formats, from A6 to A1.

Every edition begins with a predetermined starting price. After each copy is sold, the price of the next available copy doubles.

The idea is simple: the earlier you believe in the work, the earlier you enter the edition.

But COMPOUND DP is not only about scarcity or price.

The prints begin relatively simple, close to the original digital artwork. As the edition progresses and the price increases, I manually intervene on each new piece, adding details, marks, textures and elements directly to the print.

The artwork slowly develops a new skin.

This means that differences can appear not only between A6, A5, A4, A3, A2 and A1, but also between the first, second, third and later copies sold.

Every stage of the edition becomes its own variation.

Once all 10 copies of the design are gone, the edition is closed and the design will never be printed again as a COMPOUND DP edition.

BERLIN: delivery costs can disappear entirely. If you live in Berlin, whenever possible your print will be delivered directly to you for free.
