This project is directly connected to Faccio Facce, but pushed into a larger, more physical dimension.

And then there was the Prison Ink Tattoo Convention in Denmark, maybe the most intense travel I ever experienced. So it started by arriving in Amsterdam, then meeting with my travel buddies Aaron and Ian, and starting our road trip by car from Amsterdam to Denmark, an 8-hour journey. But yeah, in this travel there was love, laughter, and death.

So I did this installation once I arrived there, gigantic. I used the area and the booth to unleash the creativity around me. And I do have a video you can see in the sold segment of this page.

Anyhow, the first day I spent drawing and setting things up, getting to know the area, which was in a prison turned into an event space, and I was actually picked by many photographers to be photographed. 

The second day I got busy and I started to tattoo people and everything was amazing. The third day I got to tattoo tattoo artists from the convention and I even got some tattoos. Before leaving Denmark, we spent a day there where I tattooed one of the coolest souls I have encountered in my life, and that is where someone told me that my best friend died in New York, which obviously destroyed me.

We then drove to Amsterdam and I remained there stranded for about 14 days. I even got my phone stolen, but I recovered it twice, and got kicked out from a hostel. I was out of my mind and I felt that I had no space in this world, but eventually, through a beautiful soul I met there randomly, I got some energy back and I finally returned to Berlin where I tried to pull myself together.
