Well, well, well... here I experimented a bit.

I had this urge to draw a totem because I have always been fascinated by their complexity: different creatures, symbols, ancestors, and stories stacked together, transforming a single vertical structure into a silent narrator. Historically, monumental poles were carved by Indigenous peoples of the Northwest Coast, often to represent family crests, ancestry, important events, people, and stories. They were not simply objects of worship, but monuments carrying identity and memory.

In this case, we have a human who, in order to become a king, needs to fly away. He cannot reach the crown by remaining what he already is. He has to abandon the ground, transform himself, and rise.
