This piece was created during a tattoo convention following a request from fellow tattoo artist Charles on instagram as  @monsieurcharles_tatoueur, who asked me to design a tattoo for him. His request was very specific: he wanted a dinosaur doing some dumb shit. From that starting point, I developed several concepts, each shaped through my personal visual language and approach to composition. The version he ultimately chose to tattoo was a mix between this artwork and a more realistic drawing of a dinosaur losing an ice cream, accompanied by the phrase “I scream.” The piece presented here, DinohDinoh, is the more cartoonish variation: a T-Rex juggling and failing to catch the third ball. It is a design where commission meets interpretation, and where humor, clumsiness, and style come together in an image originally conceived to live on skin.
